Futile

For I come against all that binds you.

For it shall require no strength, no effort, no superhuman movement to bring forth your release.

Show me a time that my chosen had to strive for freedom?

Have I not told you to be free?

Don’t act like you are free, be free.

For my hand is upon you.

Just lift up your hands. Present that which is bound to me.

For the new ropes became as flax, in the hands of the strongest man, it was burnt off, it just evaporated in my presence.

Judges 15:12-14 And they said to him, We have come down to bind you, that we may deliver you into the hands of the Philistines. And Samson said to them, Swear to me that you will not fall upon me yourselves. And they said to him, No, we will bind you fast and give you into their hand; but surely we will not kill you. So they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock. And when he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon Samson, and the ropes on his arms became as flax that had caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands.

For he who was bound and thrown into the fire, was unaffected, hear me again WAS UNAFFECTED!

For the fire of the enemy shall have NO IMPACT on you!

The fire of the enemy shall only release you from confinement, shall only showcase my power.

Daniel 3:25 He answered, Behold, I see four men LOOSE, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt! And the form of the fourth is like a son of the gods!

For he is so wrapt up in himself, that he seeks to wrap you up, to bind you up, to hold you captive.

Yet how can he who is free be bound?

Say to your captor “fear not, neither do yourself any harm, for we are all still here!”

For I have broken the chains that bind you.

Acts 16:25-31 But about midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them, Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s shackles were unfastened. When the jailer, startled out of his sleep, saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was on the point of killing himself, because he supposed that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, Do not harm yourself, for we are all here! Then the jailer called for lights and rushed in, and trembling and terrified he fell down before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out of the dungeon and said, Men, what is it necessary for me to do that I may be saved? And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping and you will be saved, and this applies both to you and your household as well.

At my touch, the chains fall at your feet.

I say to you get up, gird up your loins and come with me.

Acts 12:7-8 And suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared standing beside him, and a light shone in the place where he was. And the angel gently smote Peter on the side and awakened him, saying, Get up quickly! And the chains fell off his hands. And the angel said to him, Tighten your belt and bind on your sandals. And he did so. And he said to him, Wrap your outer garment around you and follow me.

Walk with me, let’s go for a quiet stroll together.

For the enemy knows not the way that I take.

He binds himself to you, bound with the strongest chains, by the mightiest of foes.

Yet this effort is meaningless to me, has no impact upon my plans. For I have no regard for that which opposes you.

For the enemy goes to so much trouble to forge the best weapon, the strongest chain, the mightiest fortress, the strongest prison to hold back your advance, yet his efforts are futile.

Yes futile, all that he presents to you is just an act of futility.

He puts before you his strongest, mightiest warrior, yet he knows not who is on your side. He knows not the power you possess.

For he disregards you, he has no regard for you, he looks with derision at that which is in your hand. For the weapon I have put in your hand, is not familiar to him.

For I have placed my rock in your hand.

For he is powerless against the rock. For upon this solid rock you shall stand.

Have no regard for him, have no reception for his words. For his words are meaningless. For he means to harm, yet his words are without meaning.

Put my words in your mouth. Speak out my words. Make a proclamation.

1 Samuel 17:45-47 Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the ranks of Israel, Whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will smite you and cut off your head. And I will give the corpses of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.

Tell him, tell him how it is…

Freedom from confinement.

A breaking of the chains.

An opening of the prison doors.

Freedom from captivity.

Rest your hands upon the pillars of the stronghold, and watch me bring it down.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
