Fullness

When you have had enough, I will give you more.

I’ve had enough. I’m over it. I’ve had enough of enough. I’m tired of enough. I’m tired of the wrestle for more. I’m tired of being bypassed, diminished, degraded, devalued by the ignorant, uninformed, impatient, rebels, the agents of rebellion.

But what is it that you have?

What is it you possess?

Who is your backer?

Who has your back?

You act like the enemy can take what you possess!

Why so afraid, why so timid, why the withdrawal?

For have I not called you to have dominion?

For what is a king without a kingdom?

For I have anointed you, I have appointed you. You act like a pauper, a peasant, as one without authority.

Be not intimidated, be not timid, take up your position!

What is it that you have had, that you no longer possess? What is missing from my plan, from my purpose?

For am I not your treasure. In possessing me, what is it you lack?

Am I not enough?

You feel the crumbs falling from your hand, and sense the loss of the bread. Yet am I not the bread of life?

What is it that you lack?

I lack resolve. I lack desire. I lack intimacy. I lack proximity. I lack family. I lack connection. I lack choice. I lack freedom. I lack possession. I lack the ability to possess. I lack achievement. I lack focus. I lack direction. I lack capacity. I lack strength. I lack ability. I lack the means.

I’m glad you got the off your chest!

But I know you what you lack – perspective!

For I have resolved.

For you are my desire.

For there shall be a coming together.

For have I not given you the family that everyone desires?

For your choice is clear. Rise up or shrink back. Rise in grace. Rise in power. Rise in authority. Take the high ground. Yes. Take the top position. Yes be elevated over that which pulls you down. Rise up.

In what way are you confined? Free your mind. Release your intent. Move. Be mobile. Pace it out. Step by step.

Let me out. Just stop the confinement. Step off the brake. Release the friction. Open the door. Open the door to my goodness, and experience my goodness.

Adjust your focus. What is it you see?

I see a little child running through the field of flowers. I see the child who so desired to be good, for goodness to flow, for joy to overflow all around. Now I see brokenness all around with a trickle of joy seeping through the cracks.

Take another look. What is it you see?

A community of joy, smiles all around. Life in the party. Celebration. Uncontrollable laughter. Bundles of joy. Surprises. Joy bursting forth on the faces of my beloved.

Don’t say “I’ve had enough”.

Say “I have all I need”.

Say “Burst forth”. Say “let the dam be released”. Say “burst forth, break the chains of confinement”. Anticipate more. Anticipate the arrival of more. Anticipate the flow.

Joshua 3:15-17 And when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were in the brink of the water—for the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest— Then the waters which came down from above stood and rose up in a heap far off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those flowing down toward the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Dead Sea, were wholly cut off. And the people passed over opposite Jericho. And while all Israel passed over on dry ground, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan, until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan. Joshua 4:18 And when the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord had come up out of the midst of the Jordan, and the soles of their feet were lifted up to the dry land, the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and flowed over all its banks as they had before.

For I am in the moment.

For it shall be momentous.

A monument for my glory.

A great passing.

A passing from death to life.

A new beginning.

For I am drowning the old.

For am causing that which is within you to rise up.

Lift up the anchor. Release the ties that bind. Unhook the cable. For I am christening this ship.

A new means of transport. One that moves with my flow. One carried by that which is fluid.

From the position of security, from the dry ground, to the position of elevation, rising above the stream.

Come away with me, come away.

For the winds of acceleration are coming.

Lift up your sails, for you shall experience my fullness.

That which has no bearing, that which has no impact, that which serves no purpose, shall become the means of movement.

Lengthen your cords, release the stakes.

For it is time to possess the new.

Bound to be loosed.

What looked like a house, has been transformed. That which was static, shall now be mobile.

For this ark was designed to move.

The rain that overwhelms the house, causes the ship to rise, to perform its designed function.

A place to rest on that which is fluid.

Genesis 7:16-18 And they that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded Noah; and the Lord shut him in and closed the door round about him. The flood that is, the downpour of rain was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased and bore up the ark, and it was lifted high above the land. And the waters became mighty and increased greatly upon the land, and the ark went gently floating upon the surface of the waters.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
