Full Impact

Full Impact

Dazed and confused. You arise from the shore. Covered in sand. Caked in sand. Covered in it.

You can’t shake it, you can’t shake it off….

What happened?

A face plant. Full impact. Full body imprint. You shall leave a mark.

All will see where you have been. The imprint of overflow.

First the gentle outpouring. Now the full weight, the full measure.

Deprived of that which contains. Set adrift from that which contains. Distant, separated, cast adrift. Pushed back, by the wave, you can’t get a grip, you can no longer hold on! Far from your grasp. Propelled by the overflow.

I’m making a splash. I’m not being gentle with this. I’m pushing the boundaries. I am deliberate. More, for your less. More than you can measure. I must burst forth. I am breaking the containment lines. A new precedent, a new measure. An un-contained measure. A river not a bucket. It is my pour, for your poor, my out pouring, for your catchment. My, without limit flow.

There is no limit, there shall be no limit. No more containment, no more restriction. Without constraint. Be without constraints.

Break the bonds of your thinking. You stand there with your thimble, when I am giving you a river. For the land shall not contain me. The desert will break forth with fountains. Springing forth where you least expect. This is no mirage. This is my oasis.

Like a root out of dry ground I come. Who expects a root in dry ground? Growth in the place of lack. Rapid growth. Accelerated growth. Watch for it this week. A harvest in a week. Can you imagine it. From barren to full in a moment. This is no ordinary event.

Unexpected, unprecedented, never seen before. For all will see. Not water in the lush pasture, “springs in the desert” – that is what I have promised. A stream in the desert. Not a pool, not stagnant, but on the move.

Remember the forerunner. That was just a taste of what is to come. Did you not see it with your own eyes? Lush green pasture in the wasteland? Unexpected blessing, unexpected abundance. Did I not promise more than enough!

It is my oil of joy for mourning.

Be not downcast. Lift up your hands oh Ye gates for the King of Glory is coming.

Lift up your head, look up not down. Be uplifted.

Arise from your prostrate state. Lift up your eyes. Be radiant.

Isaiah 60:1-6

ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about you and see! They all gather themselves together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried and nursed in the arms. Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and tremble with joy [at the glorious deliverance] and be enlarged; because the abundant wealth of the [Dead]Sea shall be turned to you, unto you shall the nations come with their treasures. A multitude of camels [from the eastern trading tribes] shall cover you [Jerusalem], the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all the men from Sheba [who once came to trade] shall come, bringing gold and frankincense and proclaiming the praises of the Lord.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
