Foreign
For this is Holy Ground.
This shall be a foreign experience for you.
From that which is fluid to that which is solid.
From that which is contained to that which is without boundary.
Do get in a flap over this. For in your wings you have strength.
Deuteronomy 32:10-13 He found him in a desert land, in the howling void of the wilderness; He kept circling around him, He scanned him penetratingly, He kept him as the pupil of His eye. As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, He spread abroad His wings and He took them, He bore them on His pinions. So the Lord alone led him; there was no foreign god with Him. He made Israel ride on the high places of the earth, and he ate the increase of the field; and He made him suck honey out of the rock and oil out of the flinty rock,
Your movement will be different, will be unexpected, will be foreign, will be unlike before. You expect to move forward, to go downward, and yet you rise up, you rise above it.
For I have pushed you over the edge….
For you stagger as your feet are not used to the solid ground. From the slippery to the grippy. For you shall have traction!
For this is new, this is what the new feels like.
Soar vs the sore.
Propelled, not pushed back.
Feel the rush, feel the wind against your face, feel the wind in your face.
For the atmosphere is new, the climate is new, the season is new, the provision is new, the power is new, the presence is new, the possession is new, the procession is new, the production is new, that which is precious is new.
For I have given you dominion over this land. Take your shoes off, make yourself at home, just come and chill by the fire.
You bring the marshmallows and I’ll light the fire!
For I have set this land aside for you, set apart for that which I have set apart.
For the foreign land shall be yours, shall be home, shall be your possession.
At first foreign and then familiar. The new transformed by the old, the old restored by the new.
The new oil in the hand of the old, the scarred restored, the rough made smooth.
