Fertile Streams

And you shall find it after many days.

For when the river overflows.

When there is overflow.

For there shall be a flow.

A flow in the driest place.

For what can you absorb from that which is so dry?

There you lie upon the sand.

Yet you shall lie down in green pastures.

For from whence shall come the flow?

First the outpour then the downpour.

For there you shall lie upon the sand.

In the place of great thirst comes my flow.

When you are wrung out, when you have nothing left to give, when you feel the thirst.

For the mirage shall become a pool.

And the wilderness a lush green pasture.

Isaiah 35:6-7
Then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
And the burning sand and the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lay resting, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

Are you not my instrument?

Are you not the source?

Are you not the well watered garden?

For first the flow.

Then the mud.

Then the sinking.

Then the disappearance.

Isaiah 32:20
Happy and fortunate are you who cast your seed upon all waters [when the river overflows its banks; for the seed will sink into the mud and when the waters subside, the plant will spring up; you will find it after many days and reap an abundant harvest], you who safely send forth the ox and the donkey [to range freely].

For your enemy says “all that glistens is not gold”.

Yet I say that all that glistens is gold.

All that reflects my light is gold.

For how will you find the seed?

First the sparkle.

Then the drawing.

Then the touching.

For you will find the seed, the seed of gold.

For you see yourself panning for gold.

For amidst the sand, amidst the flow, you shall find gold.

The golden seed.

The seed that grows.

Sprouting forth with gold.

Bushes of gold.

Trees of gold.

You shall see the growth that is golden.

Bursting forth with delight.

Splashes of gold.

Seeds of gold.

Fruit that is golden.

For it pours from your pores when you pause.

Have I not given you the cup of overflow?

Overflow in the presence.

Overflow in the place that I have prepared.

Overflow in front of your enemy.

Fear not the upset.

Fear not the flow.

Fear not the attack.

Do not be dismayed before their faces lest I permit you to be overcome.

For I have permitted you.

I have given you the permit.

I have given you permission to reign.

I have given you permission to make it rain.

For the flow shall bring fertility, shall make the dry place fertile, shall quicken the dead womb, shall cause growth in the barren place.

For the desolate place shall become full with my fullness.

For it shall fall from your hand, by your hand, from my hand, my handiwork, my hands at work.

For it shall not be as it was before.

More and more, over and over, multiplied multiples, unexpected growth, fertility in the least fertile place.

For no one shall expect it, but they shall be drawn to it.

For I am changing their minds, I am opening their minds, I am giving them a new revelation.

What I am revealing is new.

Streams of living water in the desert.

Isaiah 49:9-11
Saying to those who are bound, Come forth, and to those who are in [spiritual] darkness, Show yourselves [come into the light of the Sun of righteousness]. They shall feed inall the ways [in which they go], and their pastures shall be [not in deserts, but] on all the bare [grass-covered] hills.
They will not hunger or thirst, neither will mirage [mislead] or scorching wind or sun smite them; for He Who has mercy on them will lead them, and by springs of water will He guide them.
And I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways will be raised up.

Streams that flow from your innermost being.

Streams that flow.

Fertility in the flow.

Harvesting from the flow.

For what lies beneath that which is dry, is golden.

For this will no longer be a speck but a path that is golden.

Isaiah 30:23
Then will He give you rain for the seed with which you sow the soil, and bread grain from the produce of the ground, and it will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will feed in large pastures.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
