Feeble
From the feeble shall come the strong.
Nehemiah 4:1-2 BUT WHEN Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was angry and in a great rage, and he ridiculed the Jews. And he said before his brethren and the army of Samaria, What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore things at will and by themselves? Will they try to bribe their God with sacrifices? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, seeing they are burned?
From the small thing shall come the mighty thing.
For my hand is upon the feeble.
At first an imprint, a fingerprint.
Nehemiah 4:14-15 I looked them over and rose up and said to the nobles and officials and the other people, Do not be afraid of the enemy; earnestly remember the Lord and imprint Him on your minds, great and terrible, and take from Him courage to fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes. And when our enemies heard that their plot was known to us and that God had frustrated their purpose, we all returned to the wall, everyone to his work.
Then the edge, an edge, a boundary.
Then a wall, a perimeter.
Then a lifting up a raising up.
For each wave shall raise up that which is feeble.
For each wave that comes against you shall make you stronger and higher.
Job 4:4 Your words have held firm him who was falling, and you have strengthened the feeble knees.
For that which came to take you down, shall lift you up.
For the wave comes to destroy but by my hand you shall expand.
For the wave from without shall cause a ripple from within. This ripple will bring forth expansion. The great wave without shall be like a drop falling from within. The intended destruction shall cause a great expansion, for that which is built to be expanded, to be elevated.
For I am sifting the wave, that which comes against you.
For I have placed a barrier between you and that which comes against you. A fence, a boundary, a fortress wall.
For the flow against you shall become the flow that is for you.
For I have determined the ingredients of the flow.
At first the feeble grain of sand. The ingredients of the building.
Then the gold, the gold for the rendering, the rendering of the gold.
Then the precious stones, the sapphires and the emeralds, for this is no ordinary building. The palace, the room with a view, the place of the water, the place of the shore, the sure.
Jeremiah 5:22 Do you not fear and reverence Me? says the Lord. Do you not tremble before Me? I placed the sand for the boundary of the sea, a perpetual barrier beyond which it cannot pass and by an everlasting ordinance beyond which it cannot go? And though the waves of the sea toss and shake themselves, yet they cannot prevail against the feeble grains of sand which God has ordained by nature to be sufficient for His purpose; though the billows roar, yet they cannot pass over that barrier. Is not such a God to be reverently feared and worshiped?
For the building reflects its maker.
When the dawn rises the city glows like the sun.
When the moon rises the city glows with the whiteness of the moon, illuminating all around, a beacon in the darkness.
