Disturbed by a Great Calm

For that which is within, shall disturb that which is without.

I am disturbing the place of lack with my fullness.

For the dry shall rest upon that which is wet.

That which is wet shall disturb that which is dry.

For my flow surrounds that which stands in the way.

For the waves break upon it, weaken it, erode its strength. For it cannot stand it, it cannot stand against it, for it shall now stand, it must fall.

For a great ripple flows across the land, agitates the land.

For my hand is upon it.

My hand agitates the flow, causes it to shake that which is beneath it.

For that which is solid shall fall away under the power of the flow.

For you shall see the rock that falls upon the flow causing a great wave of change.

In a moment it rises before you. In a moment it falls before you.

A great agitation. Pushed up by the flow beneath it, pushed down by the gravity of the moment.

Wave upon wave flows from it, flows to it.

Closer and closer you come towards it, you have regard for it, you pause and wonder at how it rises and falls before you.

Then in a moment, complete calm, surrounded by calm, complete peace, complete rest.

Psalms 107:29-30 He hushes the storm to a calm and to a gentle whisper, so that the waves of the sea are still. Then the men are glad because of the calm, and He brings them to their desired haven.

Now look again, regard again the place of the rise and the fall.

What is it you see?

A well, that has overflowed all around that which contained it.

The man made well, overflowing with my flow.

For the bucket that you sent down to the depths, has been filled to overflow.

As you go again to draw from the well, I shall bring forth great overflow, more than you expect, more than you can contain.

Up from the depths I rose.

For I am rising up, lifting up the great treasure of the depths.

I have given you the anointing oil that shall break the chains.

Just pour it out and see the chains break, the strongest chains break.

For my flows rests with great power upon your hands, like honey it preserves, it grows, it nourishes.

For this land flows with milk and honey.

I did not say it shall flow, but that it does flow, it is flowing.

My hands are upon the flow are in the flow, illuminate the flow.

Genesis 26:19-24 Now Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found there a well of living spring water. And the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, The water is ours. And he named the well Esek contention because they quarreled with him. Then his servants dug another well, and they quarreled over that also; so he named it Sitnah enmity. And he moved away from there and dug another well, and for that one they did not quarrel. He named it Rehoboth room, saying, For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. Now he went up from there to Beersheba. And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will favor you with blessings and multiply your descendants for the sake of My servant Abraham.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
