Delivered

I am so tired of the tremors, the shaking, the tension, the intensity, the pressure is too much to bear.

Yet I am making a way of escape that you may be able to bear it.

The tension is the posture of expected movement.

For the tendons tense in order to create tension, which brings about movement.

The shaking comes from inhibited movement.

The tremors from unexpected movement.

The breaking of that which was solid.

The cracking open of that which was closed.

The moving of that which is immovable.

The power to break open a way.

The power to break open the hollow place.

The cracking open of that which contained you.

The place of hollowness, the place of emptiness, the place that contained your nothingness.

The breaking of containment.

The breaking of that which was hollow.

For your enemy tries so hard to convince you that my promises are hollow, and lack any substance.

He berates you every day, he distracts you daily, he says unto you “where is your God!”

Yet I am right here.

For I will never leave you or forsake you.

Yet Lord I feel you have given me an impossible task, and one that no-one else can do but me. Once upon a time I could push myself and would break through, now I push myself and all I end up with is feeling broken. Where is your promised wholeness?

What you need is context.

It is a word you would always ask of your children, for a phrase without context leaves the one who receives it confused.

Let me give you some context.

For I will lead the blind by ways that are not familiar to them.

I have given you the sight of Elisha, and the faith of Elijah, the words of Jeremiah, the strength of David, the leadership skills of Moses, the power to take ground like Joshua.

For you lack nothing that you need.

Yet I feel like I lack everything that I need.

Yet how will you speak of your future?

As one who will utterly dominate his opponent?

Or as an old man too tired to move?

I will sing of your love forever!

That’s it SING OH BARREN ONE!

Raise your expectation.

Lift up your eyes and see.

Lift up your eyes and be radiant.

For you need to tell your enemy how it will end for him.

For one cowers under the tree convinced of the impending doom.

Yet the one who believes runs towards that which stands in his way expecting me to remove the obstacles.

Lift your expectation, lift up your eyes, lift up your head, lift up your countenance, lift up your vision, lift up yourself, speak unto yourself and say “Get your hopes up!”

Say unto yourself “my hope is up!”

For in the place of contraction.

For in the place of the narrowing.

For in the place of increasing limitation.

Under the pressure of increasing limitation.

What context am I describing?

Here let me help you….

From the place of fullness.

From the point of fullness.

From the point of containment.

From the point of capacity.

From the place that is due.

From the place of the appointed time.

From the place of the breaking.

The breaking of the waters.

Then the contraction after contraction.

The increasing pressure that serves to push that which is too big, through that which is too small.

From the place of comfort, from the place of capacity, towards the place of great discomfort, the place of great pain.

Pushing that which is too large through a channel that is too small.

Yet it is not as it seems.

For your enemy tries to convince you to retreat at each wave of contraction, to shrink back, to retreat, to fall back into the place of comfort.

Yet what I have placed within you shall come out of you, must come out of you.

For that which is due, must be delivered.

For each contraction only leads to a greater expansion.

From the place of capacity to the place of new capability.

For the pregnant one is capable of carrying and feeding that which is being formed.

Yet the mother has the assistance of the father to raise that which has been birthed.

That which is conceived is at first contained until it is formed.

Yet when the formation is complete, soon after the birth pains come to bring forth the release of that which needs to be born.

Yet Lord the one giving birth, has the support of the many, the hormones, the adrenaline to enable her to cope with the pain. I feel like every day I am growing less capable of another push.

I know what you were about to say….

I need to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Yes that is it.

I know you hesitated to write that as you heard also my response.

I heard you say, “You need to believe, in order to see”.

For what I have for you is beyond belief.

For what I have for you is beyond your belief.

What is it you believe?

I believe the harvest is coming, I believe the fish will be caught, I believe a seismic shift is coming, I believe new territory shall be ours. I believe that you will restore unto us ALL that the locust has eaten. I believe it is our destiny to inherit the wealth of our enemies.

If you believe all that then why are you so downcast?

For I cannot see how these babies will be born, as all I feel is my diminishing strength, my increasingly limited capacity, and the robbing of the little resources that we have left.

What comes after clearing out the old?

To make way for the new.

For what can be done for the pregnant one, except to ensure that they are fed and comfortable?

Yet what can be done for the mother once the children are born?

So I will empower you to complete the formation, and to release all that I have given you to deliver.

Am I not your deliverer?

For even the greatest deliverer was first delivered.

The delivery of your deliverance is here.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
