Cut Through

And cut through.

And set right.

And strengthen your weakened and palsied feet.

And make straight paths for your feet.

And cut through.

And make a path.

And take a short cut.

And make a clearing.

And cut down that which stands in your way.

And give yourself a view.

For I have given you the sword for cutting.

A strong sword, a mighty sword, a sharpened sword.

And the power to weld it.

For to him who has no strength shall be given the greatest power.

Yet what it is I have shown you?

My hand with a small knife, with a serrated edge, trying with much strength to cut through wood.

My first thought is that I have the wrong tool in my hand. For I would use a saw, not a knife to cut through wood. I would use a knife to cut through steak.

Yes you would use an axe to cut through wood, yet a saw is a better tool for certain purposes.

You would use a machete to cut through the bush, as it has a longer edge.

Some tools can be used for many purposes, others are best used for a single purpose.

For when the warrior goes to war, he first selects the best equipment for the battle. He does not take everything with him lest it weighs him down, and slows his progress.

His focus is to take territory, to advance the kingdom, to take and hold various positions, to make a way for others to follow.

For the one who cuts through is at the forefront of the battle.

The one who clears a path, brings clarity to the vision, to the means to progress.

And there is purpose in every step. A means to set right, a means to establish, a means to fulfil, a means to correct, a means to establish righteousness, a path to righteousness, a destination of right standing, a community of right standing.

At each step a strengthening.

At each step greater clarity.

At each step a stronger position, a more upright position, a more dominant position.

For there is a time to sit, and there is a time to stand, and there is a time to walk, and there is a time to cut through, and there is a time for a new path, and a time to inhabit the new.

Hebrews 12:12-13
So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees, And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame and halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured.

Hi, I'm Seedcaster

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
