Crossroads

Can anything stand between you and the promise?

Even the natural boundary must cede defeat to your advance.

Say “you have crossed the line”.

It is ok to cross the line, for you shall cross the line.

Some lines were meant to be crossed. This is an invasion not an evasion.

I stand between you and the enemy’s advance.

For where you are going they cannot follow.

For I have given you the rite of passage, the rights of passage.

This is no retreat to your exit, this is a planned departure, a blessed departure, an authorised departure.

For your pattern does conform but is confirmed.

I have placed my seal upon it, it carries my brand, it shall be acclaimed.

For I have made a claim, I proclaim, this is my claim, I stake a claim, who dares oppose me?

For your possession, your procession, shall dispossess, your advance shall bring a retreat.

When you crossed the line, the natural boundary, that which could not be crossed, the impossible to overcome barrier, my intent was to break any sense of limitation.

Is there any man made thing that can stop my advance.

Can anything get in my way?

Can anyone stand in my way? Is it possible for me to back down, to retreat.

Can anyone dictate my path?

For I know the way, I am the author of the way. I wrote the book on the way. Why do you think is is only one way? For I am the way. I make a way.

My way is not rerouted by the opposition, the elevation, the posturing of the enemy.

For the sling-stones of the enemy shall pave the way.

Can my intent be thwarted. Am I not the author of this plan?

Is there anything but my glory before you. For I shall receive the glory, this way shall be glorious. Celebrate a glorious way.

For my glory is inevitable, the only conclusion from this step.

I myself have spoken. I have told you the end from the beginning. Am I not alpha and omega. Am I not the one who is called “I am”? Am I not both the start and the end.

For the end shall be a reversal of the start. A reversal of fortune.

For you shall no longer be a curse, but both a symbol and a source of blessing.

For I’m going to bless you so much that you shall be known as blessed, the blessed of the Lord.

No more, the one with the “issue”, the one in lack. But the one who is the source.

No need to be cross at the road. No need to stand there with arms crossed, blocking the path.

Have I not made a way, have I not set your course?

What have I commanded?

Move forward…

No need to stand back, no need to step back, no need to hold back.

Let’s not be backward in coming forward, let’s not go backward in order to move forward.

“Can we not just turn back” you say, but you know that is not an option.

I did not say turn back and fight, I said hold up so they can catch up.

You hear the war cry, you brace for impact, you expect loss, you anticipate defeat, you want to surrender, you see no way forward.

Go forward, move forward, step forward, advance not withdraw, step into the place I have prepared for your feet, step where no man has stepped before.

For I set before you a new path, an established course, a place of the promise, with a solid territory, a chosen territory, a land I have given to you.

The path you take shall be foreign to all, unexpected, unplanned, confusing.

Those who have come to wipe you out, to walk on the path I have chosen for you, shall be erased and will be seen no more.

Have I not determined your course, have I not opened the path before you?

Focus on the steps I have already placed before you.

Fear not the path of the enemy, fear not their intent, fear not their power, give no heed to way that they take.

For I am conducting this battle, I am between you and them.

Am I not your sword, am I not your shield, am I not your ever present helper in time of trouble.

What are my instruments of battle?

For the very wind and the waves take their direction from me.

I do my best work behind the scenes, but I am not afraid to make a scene.

Your very words echo in your ears, as you say to your children “if you have done nothing wrong, you have no need to defend yourself”

From whence comes your security, who stands guard, who is your chief advocate, who can attack you when I am your protector?

Have I not declared you are a mighty fortress? For you need no walls of self protection that I have not already provided.

Do you think this battle comes as a surprise to me? Can your guardian be caught off guard?

There is only one inevitable conclusion, what I have purposed will stand, there will be a crossing over, a possession of the promise.

I’m drawing them in, I’m stirring their desire, they intend to destroy, but I intend to deliver.

Take my lead, follow my agenda, for this is my battle!

2 Kings 3:18 This is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord. He will deliver the Moabites also into your hands.

For there is blood in this water.

2 Kings 3:21-24 When all the Moabites heard that the kings had come up to fight against them, all who were able to put on armor, young and old, gathered and drew up at the border. When they rose up early next morning, and the sun shone upon the water, the Moabites saw the water across from them as red as blood. And they said, This is blood; the kings have surely been fighting and have slain one another. Now then, Moab, to the spoil! But when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them. And they went forward, slaying the Moabites as they went.

Rejoice for I am coming over, I am coming with you as you cross the line.

Plan for victory not defeat, I didn’t say “try to be confident, exuberant and expansive”, don’t try to do it, don’t try to be it, just be….

Just take possession of what you already have, take off the garment of heaviness and put on the garment of praise, the robe of promise.

For it shall be glorious!
