Cross the Line

Cross the line.

You have crossed the line. You have really crossed the line on this one. Really. For real, you have crossed the line.

You have crossed the boundary. You have upset me, the enemy says.

For I have set you. I have expanded you. Now you find yourself over the line. You have found yourself. How it it you have found yourself? What is it you have discovered?

A new location. A new territory. A new place. The high ground. The room with a view. What is it you see? For I have given you an elevated view, so that you can see over the edge, over the boundary line, over the wall, across the fence, over the divide.

For I have drawn the line, the line in the sand. The dry ground drawn and marked in the place of the crossing. The natural boundary crossed by my hand. Cross on my line. For you shall cross by my line. Your path is set, for I have determined your course. Did I not say to go this way? Have you not followed me here? For I did not lead you up the garden path, but up the guided path. For this is no dead end, although the enemy will die here.

Exodus 13:17-18 When Pharaoh let the people go, God led them not by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was nearer; for God said, Lest the people change their purpose when they see war and return to Egypt. But God led the people around by way of the wilderness toward the Red Sea. And the Israelites went up marshaled [in ranks] out of the land of Egypt.

For it is I that gives you rite of passage. It is I that opens the way. Who makes a way, in the absence of a way. For this is no natural way for you. This is my way, a supernatural way.

Exodus 14:13-15 Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. The Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward!

Do not be alarmed. For this is my way. For when you walk with the way, there is no way anyone can say “no way”
