Cross Over

Cross Over

Step from the place of limitation to the place of expansion.

Change positions. From being surrounded to encompassing, defining, restricting, limiting, confining, captivating, making captive. Make captive the enemy. Put him in a position where he cannot move! Where he cannot escape. For he knows not the way!

Cross over….

From lack to overflow.

From peace to prosperity.

From captivity to freedom.

From weakness to strength.

From whithered wilderness to abundant fertility.

From confinement to release.

From brokenness to wholeness.

From ruin to restoration.

From poverty to richness.

From contraction to expansion.

From captivity to ownership.

From lack to possession.

From slave to king.

From pauper to prince.

From owning nothing to possessing everything.

Move to the place of expansion. Expand. Spread out.

Cross over. You have crossed over!

Way out. This is the way out. This is what out looks like.

Come out. Be out. Come out of seclusion.

Song of Songs 2:14 Come, my shy and modest dove— leave your seclusion, come out in the open. Let me see your face, let me hear your voice. For your voice is soothing and your face is ravishing.

Be not secluded. This is what freedom looks like!

Song of Songs 4:8 Come with me from Lebanon, my bride. Leave Lebanon behind, and come. Leave your high mountain hideaway. Abandon your wilderness seclusion, Where you keep company with lions and panthers guard your safety.

Be confident, exuberant, expansive. From insect to iron. Solid but not rigid. Immovable but called to move. An iron pillar that supports. But is designed to move.

Isaiah 41:14-16 “Do you feel like a lowly worm, Jacob? Don’t be afraid. Feel like a fragile insect, Israel? I’ll help you. I, God, want to reassure you. The God who buys you back, The Holy of Israel. I’m transforming you from worm to harrow, from insect to iron. As a sharp-toothed harrow you’ll smooth out the mountains, turn those tough old hills into loamy soil. You’ll open the rough ground to the weather, to the blasts of sun and wind and rain. But you’ll be confident and exuberant, expansive in The Holy of Israel!

Strong, designed to be that which supports, that holds up, but is not held up.

Solid but moving.

The seed I have sown will be reaped in abundance.

Today I encourage you to cross over.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
