Coat of Promise

Rainbows in the mist.

In the air. In the wind. On my hands. Surrounding my fingers.

Covered in the promise.

Placed like a technicolor coat on my back. A sign, a symbol of the promise.

Removed. Torn. Covered in blood. Sealed by My blood. Trampled under foot.

Lied about. Robbed. Stolen from me. It was a gift from my father. A precious gift. A symbol of His love. I possess it no more. Only the memory. It is gone from me.

Buried, covered in the pit. Imprisoned In the dark. Restrained. Bound. Away from the light of the sun. Cut off from the source. The promise.

Touched by the promise. Anointed by the promise. Like a mantle.

Elevated by the promise. Captive to the hope of the promise.

Hold on to what I have promised. I cannot be contained. It must burst forth and cover the land. It must have dominion. It possesses that which contained it.

Oppressed, it multiplied. It overflowed. It runs over. It overruns. It is the overrun. It makes the enemy run. Shrink back. Retreat. Be set back. Prepare to be set back devil. Sound the alarm. Blow the trumpet. Say retreat for we are overrun. Run for your lives. We are defeated.

What I have purposed will stand and achieve ALL I promised.

Genesis 41:39-41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Forasmuch as [your] God has shown you all this, there is nobody as intelligent and discreet and understanding and wise as you are. You shall have charge over my house, and all my people shall be governed according to your word [with reverence, submission, and obedience]. Only in matters of the throne will I be greater than you are. Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.

Enemy, that which you tried to bury. Will burst forth and blossom. I myself have declared it. It shall bear MUCH fruit!!
