Consuming Fire

Consuming Fire

The fragments on the surface are simply food for the golden fish.

Be not anchored to the surface. But anchored to the deep.

Every fragment that has fallen from your boat, is food for my gold fish.

Gold in the fragments. Fragments consumed by gold. Harvest the golden fish.

The oily flow upon the surface is my anointing.

In one hand, brokenness, in the other that which flows. Eat that which is broken, for it consumed as you eat it. Drink that which flows, for it shall flow again.

Fan the flame. I am a fan of the flame. I blow and it is ignited. Like an accelerant it explodes. It expands. It glows brighter. It is not blown out, it is blown out. It is not diminished but expanded out.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination]. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

For you blow on the embers, but I blow, I am blowing on the flame. It glows brighter than the dawn. It illuminates all around. The darkness is diminished, my holy fire rages, it refreshes, it removes the binding, the bondage. Turn up the heat.

Daniel 3:22-23 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame and sparks from the fire killed those men who handled Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the burning fiery furnace.

For I am not cool with this. My raging flame. Turn it up. Turn up. Show up in the midst. Burn up in the centre. A bonfire amidst the gathering. All shall gather to see it.

Daniel 3:24-26 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king [saw and] was astounded, and he jumped up and said to his counselors, Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered, True, O king. He answered, Behold, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt! And the form of the fourth is like a son of the gods! Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the midst of the fire.

This shall be a Bon time in the fire. Be happy in the fire. Promotion is coming. Dominion is coming. The enemy consumed. Consumption in the presence of the enemy. Be the consumer in the presence of the enemy for you shall not be consumed.

Daniel 3:27 And the satraps, the deputies, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered around together and saw these men—that the fire had no power upon their bodies, nor was the hair of their head singed; neither were their garments scorched or changed in color or condition, nor had even the smell of smoke clung to them. Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

Dip your hands in the stream and see the steam. It bubbles up from your fingers. It rises up, it spreads forth in the place it should not inhabit. It is multiplied above and flows beneath. The atmosphere changed above and impacted between. Illuminated beneath like lava. Brightens all around, sparks flying up all around.

Hear the crackling of the flame, not in the wood, not in the kindling but in the stream. Hear, see it, be amazed at what you hear and what you will see.

The flame shall not kindle upon you, for you are my kindling!

Isaiah 43:1-2 BUT NOW [in spite of past judgments for Israel’s sins], thus says the Lord, He Who created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
