Compounding Interest

Compounding Interest.

You really matter to me.

How long have I known you?

How long have you been coming here?

You try and be inconspicuous and not be any trouble.

You expect them to not notice, you expect them to overlook you, to have less regard for you as your time with them has been so long.

But I noticed you, I have not got bored with you, I have not grown distant from you, by love for you is compounding.

My interest in you is compounding.

“I was beginning to get worried when you were not here”, the waiter said. Not even a familiar or regular face for you, but nevertheless he knew of you, and was more than interested in you.

Then you find yourself a seat, with hands full you could only carry the bottle of water, so you went back to get a glass. But then another stopped you and said I have already got you one.

“How can this be after so long”, you think to yourself.

Compounding interest, compounding interest can be the only explanation.

For to compound something is to bring together substance, and to keep adding to it.

Look it up…

Compound: To put together parts so as to form a whole To form by combining parts To settle amicably: adjust by agreement. To agree for a consideration not to prosecute an offense To pay on both the accrued interest and the principal To add to To become joined in a compound To come to terms of agreement Composed of united similar elements especially of a kind usually independent Having the blade divided to the midrib and forming two or more leaflets on a common axis Involved or used in combination A fenced or walled-in area containing a group of buildings and especially residences Synonyms: Accelerate, add, amplify, augment, boost, build up, enlarge, escalate, expand, extend, increase, multiply, raise, stoke.

For my interest compounds.

I have more regard for you not less.

Ezekiel 36:8-11 But you, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are soon to come home. For behold, I am for you and I will turn to you; and you shall be tilled and sown, And I will multiply men upon you, the whole house of Israel, even all of it; the cities shall be inhabited and the waste places shall be rebuilt, And I will multiply upon you man and beast, and they shall increase and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited according to your former estate and I will do better for you than at your beginnings; and you shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service.

Here you find yourself living in a compound, in the place of acceleration, the place of expansion, the place of new combinations, new agreements, new additions, new branches, new formations, new levels of consideration, new things to consider.

New levels of consideration, for I will cause those who did not consider you to reconsider.

Those who showed no interest, to show renewed interest.

For those who caused you to pay interest, to repay in increasing increments.

For those with waning interest to hit a roadblock and have to come to you for help.

You see it now don’t you?

A client driving so fast, accelerating so fast that everything else is a blur. In a moment, in an instant a huge obstacle appears, and they call upon you to take the wheel.

Look out for compounding interest.

Interest upon interest, more interest to repay your interest.

Did I not say to un expect?

For now is the appointed time.

Yes now is the appointed time.

Now is the time of your appointment.

There you sit contemplating how much interest you need to pay, yet in that moment what is it I want you to contempate?

Standing out in the crowd, saying to the crowd – “who is interested?”. Waiting with expectation – expecting little interest, but then one by one they lift there hand and shout “I’m interested!”

You feel the great favour you have here at your favourite place, and yet you were caught by surprise at their genuine interest, care and concern.

Well I say to you to “look out”, for the favour you have here overflows into what you shall have everywhere.

For I have caused that which was against you to be for you.

For as you say “we are for you”, I have caused your enemy to say “I am for you”.

For the unexpected shall invite you to a place beyond your expectation.

Deuteronomy 20:1-4 WHEN YOU go forth to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you. And when you come near to the battle, the priest shall approach and speak to the men, And shall say to them, Hear, O Israel, you draw near this day to battle against your enemies. Let not your minds and hearts faint; fear not, and do not tremble or be terrified and in dread because of them. For the Lord your God is He Who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to save you.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
