Clear Cut

Clear Cut

Slices of mud.

Raining mud.

Peeling the mud

Mud streams. Streams of mud. Streamers of mud.

I’m cutting through, slicing through, making a way through that which is impassable, that which you cannot walk through. That which is soft like quicksand, that which is hard like concrete. It’s all the same to me.

I’m cutting it off, I’m slicing it back, peeling it back to the core.

Now the water flows, the stream is clear, the path is clear cut! Clear and now cut.

Hebrews 12:12-13 So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees, And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame and halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured.

For the water does not mix with the mud. It sits above it. It sparkles, it bubbles up, it glistens, it shines, it glows.

Like champagne on the surface. Ripples of expansion. Drops expanding, bursting with impact. Full of hot air. My hot air. The heat of my passion, the hot word. The hot breath. Full of meaning and impact. The enemy is full of hot air, vain and without impact. I am full of fullness. So much fullness that the word overflows, flows over with fullness. My word breaks open. Open sesame. Like magic!

Revelation 3:8 I know your [record of] works and what you are doing. See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name.

That which is closed is now open. The sign is flipped. NOW OPEN! Open for business. Business hours are from everlasting until everlasting, I’m always here. This work is my rest. My work brings rest. Leave the “rest” to me!

Revelation 4:1 AFTER THIS I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling of] a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future.

“The burden breaker is here, the burden lifter is here. Jesus. We don’t have to carry it any more. It is finished! Give him your disappointment!” Church leader.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
