Bound to Grow
Bound to Grow
Micah 7:7 But as for me, I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
Growth, growth in the midst. Growth in the wall. In the fissure, in the crack. It makes a crack. It splits, it renders asunder. It divides, it separates. It brings down the stronghold. It weakens that which is strong. It removes the barrier, the dividing line, the perimeter, that which bounds, the boundary, the border.
The pressure of growth, the pressure applied to the limit, to the boundary, the wall. Growth upon growth, strong growth. The strength of the growth. The growth bound to growth, growth upon growth. Bound growth destroys the boundary.
Ephesians 6:10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
The vine becomes a strong oak tree. Pushes back that which binds it. Destroys the wall, pushes back the wall. Leaves an imprint of growth. Fruit in the place of that, where growth should not grow.
A pavilion of growth. The fortress becomes a huge tree house. A place of community habitation, no warrior to be found, but peaceful habitation. A transformation from place of limitation to creative community!
Unrestrained growth. The blooming flower pushes back that which surrounds it. It breaks down. It shatters the rock, it crumbles before it, in the presence of it. Falls down before it.
It threshes the wall, sifts it, shifts it. The growth is unnatural. The opening petal has no natural strength but in the midst of restriction it bursts forth. It cannot be confined.
I confound the plans of the enemy. Look it up.
Isaiah 19:3 And the spirit of the Egyptians within them will become exhausted and emptied out and will fail, and I will destroy their counsel and confound their plans…
I confound. Confused? Unable to find? Bewildered? Opposed to their discovery. The opposition to what they find. Opposed to their outcome.
Acts 9:22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and continued to confound and put to confusion the Jews who lived in Damascus by comparing and examining evidence and proving that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah).
Discover the opposite. Look for the opposite. Find the opposite. Confound them with the opposite action, the opposite posture, the opposite outcome. Growth in the most restrictive place.
Growth without root, without soil, without attachment, without supply. In the vertical place, in the elevated place, in the high place. Growth above the ground. Planted above and not beneath. Exposed to the elements, exposed to the light. Growth for all to see. Not hidden growth. Rapid elevated growth.
Reach a tipping point. Where the pressure of growth is too much for that which restricts it. That which I have anointed to grow will break that which confines it. It shall be confounded by expansion. Expansion in the place of limitations!
Ezekiel 30:21-22 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and behold, it has not been bound up to heal it by binding it with a bandage, to make it strong to hold and wield the sword. Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms, both the strong one and the one which was broken, and I will cause the sword to fall from his hand.
This is extraordinary, I want to show off. The wall crumbles before me. What was subtle, is now catastrophic for the enemy. I move in ways they cannot predict, do not expect.
Even my fruit that falls from the tree is not wasted. It breaks open, bursts open. Exposes that which is on the inside to the outside. A splash, a soft landing for my seed. A softening of the soil, preparing in the brokenness for the growth, the restoration. The enlargement of that which is small and insignificant.
The roots of my growth, grow into the dark places and disrupt the foundations of the enemy. Then burst forth on the surface and break the wall, weaken the wall but then become the foundation of the wall.
Isaiah 44:25-28 [I am the Lord] Who frustrates the signs and confounds the omens [upon which the false prophets’ forecasts of the future are based] of the [boasting] liars and makes fools of diviners, Who turns the wise backward and makes their knowledge foolishness, [The Lord] Who confirms the word of His servant and performs the counsel of His messengers, Who says of Jerusalem, She shall [again] be inhabited, and of the cities of Judah, They shall [again] be built, and I will raise up their ruins, Who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers, Who says of Cyrus, He is My shepherd (ruler), and he shall perform all My pleasure and fulfill all My purpose—even saying of Jerusalem, She shall [again] be built, and of the temple, Your foundation shall [again] be laid.
A new foundation, an organic perimeter, an expansive perimeter. The seed carrying the wall, shifting the wall, moving the foundation of the wall. The organic carrying the inorganic. The godly carrying the man made. The seed supporting the rock. The growth shifting the boundary.
Micah 7:11 In the day that your walls are to be built [a day for building], in that day shall the boundary [of Israel] be far extended and the decree [against her] be far removed.
