Beyond Triumph

Sing to the Lord with the voice of Triumph!

Psalms 47:1 O CLAP your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy!

I’m beyond it, beyond your exhaustion, beyond your tiredness, beyond your strength, beyond your weakness, beyond your expectations, beyond your limitations, beyond your capability, beyond your capacity.

I am MORE, not less; greater, not lesser, nevertheless ONLY the more!

Let the weak say I am strong, prophesy strength in the place of weakness, victory in the place of defeat, presence in the place of absence. Overflow in the place of lack, abundance in the place of scarcity.

Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]!

Triumph in the place of ambush, friendship with the enemy who surrounds me. Peace in the place of conflict. Courage in the place of despair, of fear.

For you and I are a majority. I am more, so there is more of me in every circumstance.

2 Kings 6:15-17 When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? [Elisha] answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them. Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

I am fullness, where there is lack I must overflow. I am beyond your cup, your container, your limitation.

Psalms 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.

I am limitless, I am without limit, I am more, so I must limit the less.

I stand at the perimeter of your thinking, your definition, your territory, the boundary of your thinking. Think of me, think of beyond! I am beyond your thinking.

Love bears all things, endures all things, hopes all things. When you are beyond what your can bear, then trust me to bring fullness, to go beyond restoring the broken pieces. To FILL the gaps for I am fullness!

1 Corinthians 13:7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].

To draw near to me you must step beyond yourself, take my hand and step across the edge into the beyond. Take the leap of faith. Step into the nothingness, for I am the something-ness. Step on to the beyond, and cross over.

Why kick against against the goads! You cannot stand on the boundary, you cannot sit on the fence, you must cross over, leap off, leap into the beyond!

And the ground shall yield her increase and the seed shall blossom.

And the desolate places shall be restored and be vibrant, be full of colour, shall burst forth with wine.

The vine shall be elevated. The ground shall be my wine press. The fruit shall be squeezed and the wine shall cover the land. But then more.

The bubbles shall burst from the wine, and as they rise, shall be my grapes! This is the word of Him who is worthy of all our praise.

Zechariah 8:12-13 For there shall the seed produce peace and prosperity; the vine shall yield her fruit and the ground shall give its increase and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit and possess all these things. And as you have been a curse and a byword among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Fear not, but let your hands be strong and hardened.

Today step into the beyond with the one who is beyond all expectation!

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
