Beyond Expectation
There is more in this than you expect.
There is more in this than you can contain.
You go to the well to draw water.
For there is much in the drawing.
There is much in the going.
There is much in the container.
There is more than you expect.
For this is an elevated cup. This is a cup that flows. This cup is surrounded with flow.
Flow above.
Flow beneath.
Flow within.
Flow without.
For this is not the cup of lack.
This is not the cup of containment.
You have come with the cup of containment.
I have come with the flow of fullness.
For you shall draw upon my fullness.
For you can not contain my fullness.
For you think the place for the flow is in the place designed to contain it.
Yet here it is in the palm of your hand.
At first grasp the cup is filled, as you lift it up there is overflow. You expect this to be the remnants of that which was in the well.
Yet there is more than you expect.
For this is the cup of overflow.
From this cup shall come more than you expect. Flow within, flow without, flow beneath, flow above.
All will say, “from whence did this flow come?”
Yet that which I have given you is not reliant on any other source.
For I shall be your resource, your supply, your reservoir, your pool of knowledge, your pool of expertise, your talent pool.
Zechariah 8:12-13 For I am planting seeds of peace and prosperity among you. The grapevines will be heavy with fruit. The earth will produce its crops, and the heavens will release the dew. Once more I will cause the remnant in Judah and Israel to inherit these blessings. Among the other nations, Judah and Israel became symbols of a cursed nation. But no longer! Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing. So don’t be afraid. Be strong, and get on with rebuilding the Temple!
For my your hand, that which is of the hardest substance shall begin to flow at your touch.
Place your hand upon the rock and see my flow burst forth from within, from without, from above, from beneath.
For you are surrounded by my flow, my supply, my fullness.
Deuteronomy 8:15-16 Who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water, but Who brought you forth water out of the flinty rock, Who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and test you, to do you good in the end.
