Becoming

For my brightness shall dawn upon you.

Stop looking in the mud for the seed.

For I have found the seed.

From that seed shall come an abundant harvest.

Isaiah 32:20
Happy and fortunate are you who cast your seed upon all waters [when the river overflows its banks; for the seed will sink into the mud and when the waters subside, the plant will spring up; you will find it after many days and reap an abundant harvest], you who safely send forth the ox and the donkey [to range freely].

For you cast the seed and then find the plant.

For it shall be as you see it.

The mirage shall become a pool.

The darkness shall come into the light.

I’m turning up the brightness.

For now is the time of great revelation, a great revealing.

I’m messing with your patterns.

A new pattern, an unexpected pattern, an unnatural pattern.

For you will be wrapped in it.

Wrap your arms around it.

Picture of me lying on a tiger, wrapping my arms around its neck. Looking at the stripes, the patterns.

A new pattern.

For it rises before you. It whelms before you. Like a fountain it flows into your hands.

It whelms but does not overwhelm.

For you shall be over that which whelms before you.

Don’t be hesitant to put your toe in the water.

Be fully immersed.

Dive in, come in. You are welcome.

Say unto yourself “you are welcome.”

Step into the deep and step out of dullness.

For my brightness dawns upon you.

For I can see you feeling frayed at the edge.

In the place of absolute tension, I am unwinding you.

What is it you see, what is it I have shown you?

A giant rope, tied so tightly, wrapped up so tightly, then unravelling, unwrapping, into the individual threads, each thread spread out to form a giant net.

Do not come to your senses.

You have a choice to make, retreat into a ball, or be unwrapped.

For you feel the tension rising, the strong desire to batten down the hatches, to retreat into your dungeon, to lock yourself up and throw away the key.

You can feel the unravelling, the unwrapping, the loosing, the unbinding, the uncovering, the exposing, the undoing, the unravelling.

For you put on your flack jacket, your battle armour, and raised up your shield, to withstand the onslaught, the wave after wave of oppression, the constant torrent of drama after drama.

What is it you see now?

The shaking, the trembling, the agitation, the disturbance.

What is it you feel?

The atmosphere changing, the mist flowing over me, your presence entering the room, your light shining in the darkness.

What is it you are afraid of?

For the enemy creates an affray, to encourage you to be afraid.

Fear not the unwrapping, the unravelling, for I am just unwrapping my gift.

What is it you see?

The unwrapping of the bandages of war, the removal of the blood stained bandages soaked with the blood of my enemy.

It is time to take off the sackcloth and to wash yourself of the ashes.

You feel like you are losing your mind, losing your desire, losing your patience, losing your resolve, losing your confidence, losing yourself.

Yet it is not as it seems.

For there is no longer a single thread.

For you are no longer bound.

For your impact shall be dispersed, shall be spread out.

Like a flower the rope opens up, bursts forth, and is unbound, without boundary.

For the one has become two!

Not shall become, has become!

For what is becoming has come.

For what is becoming has come.

For your enemy tries to convince you that you are unravelling.

When he is so afraid of the fraying, of the impending affray.

Operate with boldness.

Explore your freedom.

Make a pronouncement.

A new way of speaking.

A new way of working.

A new way of walking.

A new way of being.

Fear not the exposure.

For you shall spread out to the left and to the right.

The manifestation of the multiplication.

The manifestation of the multiplication.

The manifestation of the multiplication.

The one becoming the many.

For the time of the becoming has come.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
