Beautiful

Fractured.

Broken.

Unrestored.

Shattered.

In fragments.

In pieces.

From wholeness to a state of brokenness.

From complete into fragments.

Yet it is not as it seems.

You say “it seems to me, it occurs to me, it happened to me, it impacted me, it traumatised me!”

Yet I say.

A beautiful mosaic.

The laying out of the precise components.

The myriad of pieces exposed.

The uncovering of the components.

For there is a message in the mess.

For one piece is connected to a whole.

Every broken piece is connected to wholeness.

For there is beauty in the brokenness.

For you are fascinated by beauty.

For you look upon the beautiful one, and ponder, what is her life like?

For in beauty you find joy.

Beauty piques your interest.

Beauty causes you to stop and wonder, to stop in wonder, to pause in wonder.

Yet beauty is just the evidence of my hand at work.

For that which is born, bears no resemblance to that which is conceived.

There is nothing to identify the beauty of what is to come.

Yet you could live a great life just by being in the presence of beauty.

For when you are fascinated by her, you are fascinated by me.

For to look upon her, is to look upon joy, upon delight, upon majesty, upon goodness, upon wonder, upon my handiwork, upon my love.

Yet it is her smile that lights up the room, that lights up your world.

For I require nothing from her except her beauty, her radiance, her kindness, her love, her willingness, her exaltation, her expression, her manifestation, the fullness of her expression.

For to be with her, is to be with wonder.

For upon her I have poured out all my affection.

What is it you see right now?

A smashed and fractured mirror, with glimpses of beauty reflected in each fragment.

Look again what is it you see?

The beautiful one, the majestic one in all her glory, gazing upon herself in this fractured mirror.

When you look upon her what is it you see?

Wholeness, glory on display, the manifestation of your glory, the epitome of goodness, of kindness, of faithfulness, of godliness.

For this is the point of the turning.

For this is the point of reflection.

Reflect my reflection.

Reflect upon my reflection.

Reflect upon my goodness.

Reflect upon my wholeness.

It’s like you want me to restore the brokenness of the mirror.

Like the Israelites asking Moses to veil the radiance of my glory upon his face.

You are asking me for a better mirror, yet I want you just to reflect me, reflect my wholeness not your perceived brokenness.

I consider your present state glorious!

For you look upon your beloved as free of all defects, of all brokenness, of all lack, of all that doesn’t reflect me.

Yet you see yourself as fragmented, broken, in pain, in lack, in a mess, incomplete, lacking all that you had hoped you would be.

Yet my desire is towards you.

My love is drawn to you.

My love is poured out for you.

I consider you beautiful, without defect, unbroken, restored, complete, whole, powerful, righteous, faithful, diligent.

For some have said to you, that you live in a world of fantasy, that your view is not real, that you have rose coloured glasses on.

Yet I love the way you see things.

Have I not given you the eyes of Elisha?

For you see things that are not as though they are.

You speak things that are not as though they are.

You manifest things that are not as though they are.

You declare things into being that are not yet manifest.

For this is no fabrication.

This is no manufactured manifesto.

This is beautiful.

This is what beauty looks like.

Impossible to describe, impossible to define, yet you know it when you see it, when it passes you by, when it lives in your house.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Hi, I'm Seedcaster

This site is about elevating the word, lifting what God says higher than our circumstance -what we see with our own eyes, our perspectives of knowledge and understanding.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
