Be not backward
Be not backward
Propelled by the flow. Compelled by the flow, the overflow.
In search of the seed. Grasping the seed, the sprout. It sprouts forth. Grasping for the sprout. The shoot.
Pushed beyond it. Propelled forward. Beyond what you can grasp caught up in the flow.
“There is no turning back”
But I turned you back so that I would have the victory.
You search for the seed, the shoot, but I said you would find a tree.
Isaiah 32:20 Happy and fortunate are you who cast your seed upon all waters [when the river overflows its banks; for the seed will sink into the mud and when the waters subside, the plant will spring up; you will find it after many days and reap an abundant harvest], you who safely send forth the ox and the donkey [to range freely].
Backed up against, back up against, against the wall. Pushed against, pushed against, push against.
I want to be intimate with you. Thrust against the wall. It is me pushing against you. You can no longer go back. No backward movement. Nothing behind you. You can no longer be backward.
You must be forward. Be forward, be forward with your approach.
2 Corinthians 3:12 Since we have such [glorious] hope (such joyful and confident expectation), we speak very freely and openly and fearlessly.
Be direct, be straight forward. Be bold, behold be bold.
Proverbs 28:1 THE WICKED flee when no man pursues them, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous are bold as a lion.
Be hold, be hold me, beholding me. Desire me. Be forward. Ask me to go steady. Ask me to be yours. Ask me, for me. Ask for all of me.
Be intimate with me. Invite me to come close.
“Throw off the beggars robe!”
Will you accept this robe? Specially prepared for you. A new covering. For the one who is declared worthy, from the one is worthy. Receive the gift of worth. You are worth it all. The highest price. I paid the highest price. I declare your value. Priceless, but no longer the “less” but the “higher” price.
Esther 8:15-16 And Mordecai went forth from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, with a great crown of gold and with a robe of fine linen and purple; and the city of Shushan shouted and rejoiced. The Jews had light [a dawn of new hope] and gladness and joy and honor.
Go against the flow. Place your hand in the flow. Watch the fish jump over your barrier, your arm. Fly high and be caught in the net. For the net is above the surface. Not beneath. They shall be caught outside their natural habitat. When they leave their domain. Caught where you do not expect to find them.
Matthew 17:27 However, in order not to give offense and cause them to stumble [that is, to cause themto judge unfavorably and unjustly] go down to the sea and throw in a hook. Take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find there a shekel. Take it and give it to them to pay the temple tax for Me and for yourself.
“God is Turning on the tap.”
