Anyone for Dessert?

Anyone for Dessert?

I have set before that which you cannot grasp.

Is it a curtain?

Is it a sheet?

No it extends far beyond your reach.

It covers a table, set too high for you.

It is a giant table, with giant plates, giant portions.

Come and take a seat, for I declare you are a giant. This is the table I have prepared for you.

Be seated and be larger, be taller, be wider, be expanded, be full……

When I move I intend for you to come with me, I’m not the sort to move on and leave you behind.

Did you not see all those that you left behind, that still want to come?

Can water and oil mix?

The oil flows on the surface. You push it back to reveal that which is underneath, but it is covered once again.

This is the anointing oil that covers the flow.

It bubbles up underneath, it bursts forth from beneath. It rises up and the lilies bloom on the surface.

Like champagne I’m celebrating the flow. Champagne with strawberries sprinkled on top.

The seed is sprinkled on top. The nets fall from the heavens like snow, the Suns bursts through the clouds like magic.

Lifted from the mud. Bound by the mud. But I say “be loosed”, unravel my bonds, for the infection is gone, and you are restored.

Here is mud in your eye, for now you shall see more, I’m removing the scales, the poultice is done, the redeemed shall return. No more contrast, no more stick figures, be washed, be restored, to fullness.

And you shall find an abundant harvest. The mud is no more, for you are on the solid rock.

The sweet tree of abundance rises from the mud of bitterness. No more bitter only sweet. For this is the season of the sweet.

Exodus 15:23-25 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its waters for they were bitter; therefore it was named Marah [bitterness]. The people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree which he cast into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There [the Lord] made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He proved them,

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
