All Aboard

And all shall hear these words echoing across the land.

All Aboard!

But first the sound of the clanging cymbal. A call to arms. A beacon signalling a state of emergency. A sign of the flow that is coming.

But I appointed you first. I set you apart for this moment.

It is time to launch out into the deep. Let’s make a giant splash. For I have made you captain of this ark. Designed not to contain, but to protect.

For you shall stand on the edge. For the one who rules the deep has no fear of the waves. For what crashes over another shall just flow over you. For you go with my flow.

Can you not see it?

A giant ship, that when the rain comes it just flows down like rain from the edge, pooling beneath and providing a means to float. It has the appearance that it was designed with great care and precision for this purpose. Possessing divine strength and capacity to drive through that which is impassible for another.
and I see giant waves all around, a storm unlike any other. Lightning strikes all around, great turbulence but the ship remains strong and continues to move mightily towards its destination.
and then I see you walking upon the edge of the waves, directing them away from the ship, clearing the path for us.
and then I see you directing me, like a conductor, my hands mirroring the movement of your hands.
Inside the vastness of the ship, I see vibrant communities of people, gathering together, enjoying each others company. And others excited as the create the next amazing invention.

Whilst the others remain inside I have placed you at the front, standing at the forefront.

Unafraid of the storm, for I have given you power over it. Power to make progress in the dangerous times of testing and trouble.

Psalms 18:33
He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]; He sets me securely upon my high places.
John 6:18-21
Meanwhile, the sea was getting rough and rising high because of a great and violent wind that was blowing.
[However] when they had rowed three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and approaching the boat. And they were afraid (terrified).
But Jesus said to them, It is I; be not afraid! [I AM; stop being frightened!]
Then they were quite willing and glad for Him to come into the boat. And now the boat went at once to the land they had steered toward. [And immediately they reached the shore toward which they had been slowly making their way.]

And the compass. And the means by which you navigate you shall call “Voyager”.

For it shall take them beyond the edge, take them into the new frontier.

And the means by which you travel shall be called the ark. For those that step from that which is known into the unknown, need something familiar in order to help orient their mindset. For this ship has no anchor, but the ship itself it is an anchor for all those who embark on this new adventure.

For I am establishing a new community, a new culture, a new habitat in the frontier of the unknown. A new habitat provides the environment for new habits to form.

It is time to be bold, it is time to go boldly, it is time to go with boldness. Here take my confidence with you.

It is time to chart a course for.

For you shall lead them out into the deep. You shall lead them through the storm.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
