After Effects

After-effect A delayed effect; an effect that follows at some interval after the stimulus that produces it.

For the darkness trembles before your advance.

What are you after?

What is before you?

Who is before you?

What happened before?

What is the effect, what was after?

What caused the shaking?

What was the assault?

For you are my salt!

For I foretold a great shaking. For I prophesied a ripple across the land.

I even took you to the place where you could see the giant ripple in the mountain.

“I really feel like heavens about to burst!”

What the heck!

For you shall be covered in it. For I have got you covered. For you are covered in it.

Cover with the flow, within and without.

Why does it matter that is flows without, when I flow within?

For you are not without flow.

For what is flow? My flow moves, my flow shall move. What can stand in the way of my flow?

For it moves that which is immoveable.

For it moves, it moves you, it draws you, impacts, it ripples, it rises up.

For shall that which rests upon, literally goes with my flow.

Your only guidance is to put your hands in the flow. Go with my current. Be current. For you are my current, my currency. My current position, my present, my presence, my gift.

For you cannot sit still, you have to move. I want you to move. Not just make movement. Make a movement, move my people. Shift things, displace principals, displace practises, break established traditions.

You wonder what position to take. For you are not a conservative, you are not a liberal, you are a radical fundamentalist.

You can’t dance, but you can’t help to move with the beat.

You don’t like to party, but you love the one who parties.

You feel the tremble, the tremor, the shaking, the ground swell. You feel it in your bones, literally!

Don’t worry, I’m just tapping my feet to a new beat.

From the pinnacle of your advance I’m seeding the atmosphere. For I inhabit the high place. Like manna falling from heaven, but not for maintenance, not for sustenance but for growth! Expect rapid growth for the seed shall burst forth. There shall the seed produce peace and prosperity.

For you feel like you are hanging from a thread, but you are not going down, I’m lifting you up. It is I who says to you come up higher!

For I am elevating you. First the elevated view, then the rising up. Come and inhabit the high place.

For the drops splash all around, the waves and billows roll. But then a drop of colour, a splash of colour, a pool of colour, a mosaic of colour, flowing together but distinct. At first upon the ground, but then upon your shoulder, for the it flows without and within. Beneath and above. It is my coat of many colours.
