Abandon

Abandon all hope.

Reckless abandon.

Abandoned, forsaken.

Forsake.

For goodness sake.

Abandon all…. Hope

Hope in the place of abandon.

Hold on to hope.

Just hold on.

Just hold on a moment.

Just wait a sec.

“Don’t be so reckless. Throw down your guns…”

Be wreck less, be without wreck.

Abandon the wreck.

Leave behind the wreck.

Be not wrecked.

Be without wreck.

Be refreshed, be restored, hold on to hope.

For goodness sake.

My goodness.

Receive my goodness.

Receive my oil.

Let it flow.

Embrace the flow.

Be vigorous.

Be full.

Be full of vigour.

Receive my strength.

Be established with strength. Rest on these pillars. Lean against them. Rest on this word.

2 Chronicles 3:15-17 Before the house he made two pillars, 35 cubits high, with a capital on the top of each which was five cubits. He made chains like a necklace and put them on the heads of the pillars, and he made 100 pomegranates and put them on the chains. He erected the pillars before the temple, one on the right, the other on the left, and called the one on the right Jachin he shall establish and the one on the left Boaz in it is strength.

Play it back, play with it, go and have a play.

For I have given you the land, the playground, go and have a play.

My words echo yours…

You say to your client, go and have a play, experiment, innovate, explore the hard questions, collaborate.

Well I say to you – go and have a play, enjoy yourself, have fun.

Why so serious?

You sit with your arms crossed, agitated, irritated, struggling for breath, circumstances pounding upon your back. Every move physically irritates you.

You look at yourself and with the strain revealed upon your face, try to figure it all out.

Your hand rests upon the water, yet vibrates, agitates, disturbs, amplifies, makes waves.

i have called you to disturb, to create a disturbance, to disrupt, to impact, to push back, to press in, to wrestle with, to push through, to break through, to pioneer, to advance, to transform, to lead, to take the ground, to climb the high places, to reach the summit, to look over, to look out, to oversee, to see over, to see past, to see through, to see beyond, to discern, to calm, to bring peace, to lift up, to raise up, to heal, to restore, to rebuild, to elevate, to possess, to take possession, to give, to bring forth, to cast down, to cut off, to put back, to cleave.

Lost for words….?

Hear my voice.

Here take my words, receive my words, speak my words, prophesy my words, embrace my words, give my words.

Tell them like it is, but more so tell them like it will be. Lift them higher, craft their expectation, mould their expectation, teach them what to expect. Show them how.

What are you expecting?

Fullness of Eternal Promise Wow. You even speak for me. You tell me what to expect, you give me permission to expect.

Yes, expect fullness.

You worry about about lack, will you have enough….

Hear again, receive again. You are my chosen. I have chosen you for this task, I have anointed you for this purpose. You are more than enough, where you walk shall be the place of more than enough. Through you I will restore the desolate places. You stand in the place of lack for this purpose. TO BRING MY FULLNESS.

Isaiah 49:18-20 Lift up your eyes round about and see the returning exiles, ready to rebuild Jerusalem; all these gather together and come to you. As I live, says the Lord, you Zion shall surely clothe yourself with them all as with an ornament and bind them on you as a bride does. For your waste and desolate places and your land once the scene of destruction surely now in coming years will be too narrow to accommodate the population, and those who once swallowed you up will be far away. The children of your bereavement born during your captivity shall yet say in your ears, The place is too narrow for me; make room for me, that I may live.

Get this into your head, your mind, your body. Fullness of Eternal Promise.

Anticipate fullness, expect fullness, for I have promised it.

It pours from your pores when you pause.

It runs over, it escapes your container, it breaks the containment lines.

Abandon all hope.

Abandon lack, receive ALL, HOPE!

For I have not forsaken you, I have chosen you, I have set you apart. Be set, be apart, come away with me, stay with me, take up residence in me, inhabit ALL that I have given you.

Be confident in Me, my purpose, my plan, my resources, my flow, my overflow.

2 Corinthians 9:8-11 And God is able to make all grace (every favor andearthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the needbe self-sufficient possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. As it is written, He the benevolent person scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever! And God Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your resources for sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity. Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous, and your generosity as it is administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God.

Be exuberant, be expectant, be joyful, be anointed, receive that which I have purposes. Make a claim on me, stake your claim, possess all that I have promised, pace it out, walk forward, establish a perimeter, possess what I have established. Your territory shall be far and wide. Have I not shown you? You see it now don’t you. The field of harvest across the land.

Expand your thinking, see what I see, expect me to do what I have promised. Have I not said possess the land which I have given you?

Joshua 1:2-9 Moses My servant is dead. So now arise take his place, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, the Israelites. Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon to the great river Euphrates—all the land of theHittites Canaan—and to the Great Mediterranean Sea on the west shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

You stand there on the edge, afraid to move, restrained, confined, limited. Yet you feel like you have crossed over.

You recall the vision, the staggering on the shore, the hand trembling, the look of wonder at what just happened. It was a huge catch, it felt like a dream and yet it happened.

Be sure of the shore, be confident of the catch, the reaping.

It is only just the start. I have called you, I have chosen you, possess ALL that I have given you.

Pace it out, walk it out, rule over it, possess it, be sovereign over it. Put your mark on it.

For the breaker has gone before, the through has come, the rite of passage granted, the purpose confirmed.

Abandon restraint, lay off restraint, without restraint. Take up your position. Receive your crown, with joy now set the ground rules, establish the kingdom.

You see it now before you.

Fullness in the place of lack.

Fountains in the place of drain.

Joyous expectation in the place of anxiety.

Abundance in the place of lack.

Double portion in the place of hunger.

Appointment in the place of disappointment.

Elevation in the place of depression.

Unity in the place of isolation.

Harmony in the place of discord.

Let it be unto me as you have said.

This shall be your manifesto, watch me manifest before your very eyes.

In righteousness shall your kingdom be established.

Psalms 45:3-4 Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O mighty One, in Your glory and Your majesty! And in Your majesty ride on triumphantly for the cause of truth, humility, and righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); and let Your right hand guide You to tremendous things.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
