A Drop of Overflow

Touch the pool, that which pools, the drips, the drops, that which is beneath, that which is under, that which lays upon the ground, is laid upon the ground.

The run off, the out pour, the pour that is out. The “left over” of the flow.

And then a splash. After the touch, after the immersion, then the splash. The splash multiplies, is greater, is more than you expect. The soft immersion, but the huge splash.

How did this happen? The small impact, the slow immersion, but then the splash. You are drenched by the drop. Selah!

For it is the drop of overflow. You touch it and then your hand is soaked, and then it flows up, your arm is soaked, then your whole body soaked, just like you had a shower, no – more like you were standing in the storm and it poured down, it rained down, drenched, soaking in it. Like your clothes are drenched but your naked but your skin is saturated!

Joel 2:23-27 Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord, your God; for He gives you the former or early rain in just measure and in righteousness, and He causes to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, as before. And the [threshing] floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall overflow with juice [of the grape] and oil. And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten—the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame. And you shall know, understand, and realize that I am in the midst of Israel and that I the Lord am your God and there is none else. My people shall never be put to shame.

Be saturated! Receive the out pouring, for I am pouring out!

Joel 2:28-30 And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Even upon the menservants and upon the maidservants in those days will I pour out My Spirit. And I will show signs and wonders in the heavens, and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.

When I pour out, it flows, it fills, it fulls, it multiplies it is more than can be contained. It goes beyond all you can imagine. Small in volume, small in size, but it spreads out, it covers all, it expands all, it overflows all. It flows over all.

Just one touch….

John 5:6-9 When Jesus noticed him lying there [helpless], knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, Do you want to become well? [Are you really in earnest about getting well?] The invalid answered, Sir, I have nobody when the water is moving to put me into the pool; but while I am trying to come [into it] myself, somebody else steps down ahead of me. Jesus said to him, Get up! Pick up your bed (sleeping pad) and walk! Instantly the man became well and recovered his strength and picked up his bed and walked. But that happened on the Sabbath.

This is just a small operation, a small thing for me!

Now it springs up, now it splashes up.

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
