Pass

The passing.

The passage.

Just passing through.

Overtake.

To pass on.

To pass away.

To overtake.

To pass through.

To make accelerated progress.

To come from behind.

To move from behind to be in front.

To be on the other side of the obstacle that is slowing your progress.

To move beyond limitation into the place of freedom.

The removal of the hindrance.

From the place of inhibition, to the place of exhibition.

From the place of the binding, to the place of the unbound.

From the place of the wound up, to the place of the unwound.

Be unwound.

Be un wounded.

Be without wounds.

Be absent of wounds.

Be unscarred.

Be without scars.

From death to life.

To pass on from that which has passed on.

To pass on and come away, from that which has passed away.

For you shall overtake.

For you shall overtake and recover all.

For you shall take over, that which overtook you.

For I have gone ahead of you.

I have appointed the straight path, I have provided a straight path, for this shall be the place where you overtake, where you can overtake in safety.

For I have given you the power to perform.

For I have given you a vehicle whose sole purpose is to perform.

For it does not lack power.

For you were just thinking to yourself.

I heard you thinking to yourself, how you once new all the performance numbers, which car was faster than another, on reflex, on any opportunity you could tell who would win against whom.

But now you thought to yourself, “who cares”, if one is faster than you, you have having more fun, you are enjoying the experience, any experience is joyful in this place.

For it is the feeling of such power. Whether in low gear or high gear, you are at the limit in seconds.

For my power is evident.

For you have evidence of my power.

You say to yourself “I feels like nothing can stand in my way”

Yes this is what freedom feels like.

For you need only a short distance to pass.

Any opportunity is a perfect opportunity to pass.

Indeed, how many times has the puny obstacle in your way, pulled over IN ORDER THAT YOU MIGHT PASS!

Sorry, not sorry for the emphasis!

For is there anything that can stand in your way?

When you are out.

When you are out.

When you are out.

When you are not in.

When you are out.

When you are not in.

When you are out.

Let me make my point.

WHEN YOU ARE OUT!

Get this into your soul.

Get this into your sole.

Let me make this a point of establishment.

When you are out.

For when you are out….

There is no boundary.

There is no limit.

There is my freedom on display.

For I have let you out.

I have released you from confinement.

I have locked you out.

Be out, not in.

Be outward, not inward.

Get out!

For I have called you out!

For that which I have set free, is free indeed.

Display my freedom.

How can freedom be displayed when you are in?

For freedom calls you out.

For freedom calls you to be out.

Pass on that which is within.

Pass on that which is within.

Pass on that which I have placed within.

Give what I have given.

Gift your gift.

Pass on every opportunity.

You make me laugh

Overtake on every opportunity.

For I have given you the rite of passage.

For I have given you the rights of passage.

I have given you the right to pass.

I have given you right of way.

For all will wait for you to pass through.

The only sign they will see is “give way”

For I have made a way.

Once upon a time, you remember how much planning you needed, how you had to time it all so perfectly, you had to wait for the very long straight, and for the way to be clear, before you dared to move.

For you had little power, and a poor performing vehicle.

What a contrast!

What a contrast!

Can you see the contrast?

Now you only see the smallest of opportunities and immediately you are on the other side of it.

At first you almost hit the car in front, as your past experience had informed you that you needed to build momentum, before pulling out, so as to give less time on the wrong side of the road.

Wasn’t that a shock to the system!

Sorry I wanted to give you an object lesson!

Now you move out, now you go to the opposing side, the wrong side, to avoid impact.

You make me laugh Lord! What an object lesson!

For the impact you have now is accelerated progress.

Now you pass so fast, those in front of you consider you a hazard.

One moment you are behind them, and whatever they do, in a moment, in an instant you are front of them.

From behind, you are now in front.

Once behind, now in front.

Once before, now to the fore.

For the impact I want you to have is to show your opponent what is like to be overtaken.

Pass with celebration.

Pass with confidence.

Pass with security.

Pass with power.

Pass in anticipation of progress.

For I have given you the order, in order that you might pass.

1 Samuel 30:3-6 So David and his men came to the town, and behold, it was burned, and their wives and sons and daughters were taken captive. Then David and the men with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more strength to weep. David’s two wives also had been taken captive, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess and Abigail, the widow of Nabal the Carmelite. David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

From the place of no strength, comes the power of the greatest strength.

From the place of captivity, comes the place of great recovery.

From the place of grief, comes a great outpouring of joy!

1 Samuel 30:8 And David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? The Lord answered him, Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all. 1 Samuel 30:18-24 David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken and rescued his two wives. Nothing was missing, small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything that had been taken; David recovered all. Also David captured all the flocks and herds which the enemy had, and the people drove those animals before him and said, This is David’s spoil. And David came to the 200 men who were so exhausted and faint that they could not follow him and had been left at the brook Besor with the baggage. They came to meet David and those with him, and when he came near to the men, he saluted them. Then all the wicked and base men who went with David said, Because they did not go with us, we will give them nothing of the spoil we have recovered, except that every man may lead away his wife and children and depart. David said, You shall not do so, my brethren, with what the Lord has given us. He has preserved us and has delivered into our hands the troop that came against us. Who would listen to you in this matter? For as is the share of him who goes into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike.

For in the passing you shall find nothing missing.

For in the passing you shall find nothing missing.

Nothing, small or great that was taken, shall be missing.

Yet.

And yet.

And yet there is more.

More to be obtained, not less.

More to share.

For as is the share of him who goes into battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage.

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
