Flow

Flow

It pools….

It pools beneath you. It refreshes, it is fresh, it renews, it restores. It is full of that which is fresh. So full of my fullness, that it makes fresh, it makes new. It makes the stale fresh. The stagnant flow, the dead, live.

It streams from the source. It overwhelms the dry. The dry becomes saturated. The desert becomes a stream, a pool. This is no mirage, what you perceive is that which you receive. It hovers over the sand, like steam, like smoke, the haze rises up. You see it shimmering above the surface. It floats above. Like a spirit, like a ghost, of form, but without flesh. I’m hovering above the dry seeking to perform my will.

I like to hover above. I started this story with a hovering over the deep, over the waters.

Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

Now I hover over the dry, what was once wet. I speak wet, over that which is dry. Be saturated, I say. Flow in the place of dryness – I declare! I love to restore. But not a reversal of fortune, a resurrection – life where there was death! Growth where there was no possibility of life. You look at it and what do you see? Death!

You ask, how can anything grow here? Indeed you do not even ask! Check your posture! Your expectation? What do you see? You assess, but I want you to prophesy! Do as I do. Speak about what is not, as though it is! For this is not a desert, THIS IS A PLACE OF OVERFLOW!

Isaiah 35:6-7 Then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. And the burning sand and the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lay resting, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

See your eyes well up as you hear these words. I want you to experience and know and feel what I see. Your eyes were once dry, but now they are wet! Where did that water come from? You do not expect to see it, and yet you do not question it!

In your experience, is it not logical, no it is inevitable, that dryness must be covered by that which is wet. This is my design! This is by design! This is expected. You take it for granted! Without question!

Joel 2:21-27 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things! Be not afraid, you wild beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness have sprung up and are green; the tree bears its fruit, and the fig tree and the vine yield their [full] strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord, your God; for He gives you the former or early rain in just measure and in righteousness, and He causes to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, as before. And the [threshing] floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall overflow with juice [of the grape] and oil. And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten—the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame. And you shall know, understand, and realize that I am in the midst of Israel and that I the Lord am your God and there is none else. My people shall never be put to shame.

My intention is to flow. I make that which is hard, liquid. I bring forth water from the rock, from the fiery the rock, the flinty rock. Not stagnant water, but water that refreshes.

Why test me in the place where there is no water? Did I not say, have I not said, have these words not echoed in your life, and yet you still have not received or understood? Now, yes now, know and receive these words, be this word, just be this word. This is your persona!

John 7:38 He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

See now it pools, yes it pools all around you! First a pool, but then a fountain! Release the flow, unlock the flow, for I have damned the dam.

Psalms 24:7-10 Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; yes, lift them up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah [pause, and think of that]!

Open the flood gates. Be open not closed. Not closed, but open. Lift up the gates, raise the bar, release the handle, turn, turn the nob, release the catch, yes release the catch. Say to the catch, be released, unlock, be not locked. I declare you are open! No more closed but open.

Isaiah 62:10-12 Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Cast up, cast up the highway! Gather out the stones. Lift up a standard or ensign over and for the peoples. Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the Daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes [in the person of the Lord]; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work and recompense before Him. And they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.

Release the sluce gates, let the irrigation channels flow. Prepare for the harvest. Do you not see the seed growing beside the channels that flow. Water where there was none. For the tide has turned. The withdrawal has turned, the tide has turned, that which was out, is now coming in. I revealed that which was dry. You see the ridges, the paths, the place where the water was. The place of withdrawal. It lingers. It reveals the pattern, it shows the path, it reflects the light.

Isaiah 44:3-5 For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit upon your offspring, and My blessing upon your descendants. And they shall spring up among the grass like willows or poplars by the watercourses. One will say, I am the Lord’s; and another will call himself by the name of Jacob; and another will write [even brand or tattoo] upon his hand, I am the Lord’s, and surname himself by the [honorable] name of Israel.

The dryness is the place of crossing over. But now it shall be the place of fullness, the place of advance, for the tide has turned.

It creeps up on you, you closed your eyes but for a moment, but then you felt something lapping at your feet. It cools that which was hot, it wets that which was dry. It refreshes. Your mouth says aaaah! A smile forms on your dial.

Be not alarmed at that which now flows! Keep smiling, just relax and experience my flow..

Elevated Purpose

I am a man of passion, of purpose, but fundamentally one who holds on to God with every fiber of my being. I learnt some years ago that it is one thing to say that I “trust” God,  or that I “have faith”, but it is a whole other level to obediently put that word, that faith into action.
